THUNDERBOLTS#172 PREVIEW






Preview pages for TBOLTS 172 went up online tday. You can see them here. Above are the pages in all their black and white glory. A lot of this issue was coloured by Jordie and I'm absolutely delighted I finally got to work with her on THUNDERBOLTS. Hope we can do more Marvel work together in the future as I think this is some of the best my work has ever looked, and that's no slight against the other colourists I've worked with.

THUNDERBOLTS: THE GREAT ESCAPE TPB OUT NOW


Had a pleasant surprise today when I saw my own work on the shelves gawking back at me. 'The Great Escape', the most recent collection of my run with Jeff Parker and Kev Walker, is out now. It collects my 'Point One' issue, where the Tbolts go to Ireland! Also, my 'Ripper Tour' is collected too. I ugre you all to check it out.

While I'm at it, you might notice that I have a 'Bibliography' sidebar to the right, where I have links to Amazon for all my collected works to date if you're interested in picking them up. Recently added my Sweeney Todd graphic novel too.

DARK AVENGERS


So the news is out; once the upcoming 'Thunderbolts v Thunderbolts' arc wraps up, THUNDERBOLTS is to become DARK AVENGERS and has a new host of characters being introduced (see above). Jeff Parker has done a fleet of interviews about it all, listed below. We both also talked to CBR, you can read that here.

Really looking forward to getting stuck into this new direction.

MARCH MADNESS


Above is the cover to #1 of Exile of the Planet Of the Apes, another great Apes epic by Gabe Hardman and Corinna Bechko, tis time with Marc Laming on art. Jordie and I did another set of covers and I'm still really happy with it. It's out this week. GET IT.

Also, keep an eye on Comic Book Resources this weeksnd as there should be some VERY interesting news coming from Wondercon in San Francisco.

Also, I've been nominated for an Eagle Award! Could THIS be the year I win for 'Favourite Newcomer'? With the other names nominated... probably not. But if you want to try, vote here.

In other news, Jordie got to colour the bulk of my next Tbolts issue. I'm really looking forward to seeing it on the stands next month.
