Ohhh!Look at mr.Fancy-Pants with his subtle storytelling and such.Seriously though, great stuff.Would work great as a short Punisher strip.
Thanks lads.Heh, yeah, maybe i should have come up with a 3rd page where he shoots some criminals.
Great idea Luke. In my head now, that dude is totally Frank Castle.Great stuff altogether Deckard
Cracking wee story that and the grey wash is very effective. Should reprint ok if it's given the right dot, halftony thing.I agree with the Frank Castle comment, that guy is pretty solid and moody. Excellent figure work.
Yeah Luke,spot on!
Thanks guys. It's the first thing i've 'written' in a year, so i'm glad ye like it.
Silent comics are tough. I remember some of the Marvel Nuff Said issues not quite working.
Well in fairness, the aim for everyone drawing comics is that you should have some sense of the story without any words. The specifics of your story mightn't be known, but you should have some idea of what's happening. I'm not saying i've managed that or anything, but it's what you should strive for when you're drawing comic pages.
Anyone who wants to pick this up can get the TRIPWIRE Annual 2009 from UK comic shops. Just pester them to order it through Diamond UK…
