DARK AVENGERS 178 OUT TODAY!

Yep, issue 178 of DARK AVENGERS is out today. This is my final issue on the book that's been my home for the past 2 years.

I guess it's kinda fitting that I shared art duties with Kev Walker who set the bar each and every time he handed in new work. Huge thanks to Jeff Parker, who helped get me on the book in the first place, and delivered me enteraining script after entertaining script. More thanks to Frank Martin Jr, who made my work look so bloody appealing with his great colour work. Joe Caramagna also consistantly did a great job lettering the series. Last but not least, thanks to fellow Mick Stephen Thompson for helping me get this book in on time.

While I'm at it, I might as well thank you all who've supported me while on Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers. Hope you'll come follow me to VENOM.

Gah, I totally forgot to blog about this issue when it came out last week, Make sure you track it down! Things are really kicking off in DARK AVENGERS and in the isue, Kev Walker and myself work together to tie both stories together.

DARK AVENGERS... AND MORE!

Dark Avengers came out this week. Want to know more about it? Well, Jeff Parker and I did an interview over on Marvel.com. As an added bonus, Jeff posted my layouts for the entire issue over on his blog. Check 'em out!

Also, over on it was announcd that I'm contributing to DRACULA WORLD ORDER, a one-shot that's the brainchild of Ian Brill, who was my editor on 28 DAYS LATER. It's out digitally through Comixology next week. More info and lots of great preview art from the book over on Robot 6.

Also last but certainly not least, word finally filtered through that I'm drawing an arc of CONAN, for Dark Horse Comics. I'm delighted to be working again with Brian Wood, and I still can't believe I'm getting an opportunity to work with colourist Dave Stweart.

Anyway, back to the drawing board.

So the news is out; once the upcoming 'Thunderbolts v Thunderbolts' arc wraps up, THUNDERBOLTS is to become DARK AVENGERS and has a new host of characters being introduced (see above). Jeff Parker has done a fleet of interviews about it all, listed below. We both also talked to CBR, you can read that here.

Really looking forward to getting stuck into this new direction.
