Thought i'd post the black and white version of today's Micks piece here. As much as i'm happy with the colours, i've been doing of late, i always still like the black and white version more.

HELLBOY 2

Just like The Dark Knight a few weeks ago, i'll be at Liffey Valley's VUE cinema this weekend drawing Hellboy sketches. I'll also have these babies, but they won't be cheap, as i put a fair bit of work into them...

HELLBOY SKETCHES





Tried doing some small Hellboy sketches and test doing a bit of greywash. I did a fair bit of greywashes after i finished art college, even had an exhibition of them, but it had been a while, so i thought i'd try again on A5 size paper.

Well, since the last BPRD sketch went down so well, here's another one; this time Johann Kraus. I could just post the sketches in black and white, but i kinda like adding a bit of colour to them; i reckon the blog could do with a bit of colour here and there.

Thanks again for all the well wishes with the Eagle nomination by the way, it's greatly appreciated.

Been reading a lot of BPRD recently. I love how Guy Davis' take on Abe Sapien is so different to Mignola's. Made me want to try do my own take of him. Hence, the above.
