BICS IRON FISTS

Strangely enough, the most requested sketch of my weekend at BICS was not Infected/ zombie-like characters, but was in fact Iron Fist. I had a folder of Eclectic Micks sketches, one of which being this Iron Fist that everyone likes, so i reckon that's why i got so many requests for auld Danny Rand.

This is probably my favourite one.

I made a stupid, stupid mistake with this one and drew him with two flowing hands instead of one.
He's not Iron Fists Dec ....you idiot!

A very noir-y sketch.

And finally a really loose and rough sketch.
This was the very last one of the weekend, so was a little more rushed, and i was at my most tired.
Sue me.

LOve the first and the third.
Methinks I'll be doing an Iron Fist for next week's micks piece in honour of your immortal fistiness.

Great drawings! I was only aware of his original high collar costume - this the latest one?

Thanks Ade!

Yeah, he was given a 'new look' there a couple of years ago. He kinda has a tight green sweatshirt instead now.

I think the first one is the best too. Must be difficult to come up with different poses when you get a lot of requests for the same character.

Yeah, it really is! I don't want to keep repeating the same pose over and over again. That best one may be the first i posted, but i'd say it was the 3/4th one that i did. I did 5 or 6 altogether. Only one Batman, which was a change from the norm.

Mate, these are incredible. I can't believe you do these as con sketches. I just do bloody pencil head shots.
