BEATNIK GAMES

I recently did a couple of pieces of artwork for the website of a video games company. Beatnik Games asked me to do a couple of pieces to use for their website in anticipation for their first project. I was more than delighted to contribute. Check out their site to see how they used the above piece.

Great image Dec. Very moody, lovely use of negative space.
Damn hippies.

Really nice work-the convention sketches are excellent.

Thanks lads,

I drew the piece A3 size Luke, glad you like the red, it was Beatniks idea actually, not mine.

Hey Moon, yeah, it's not a huge, elaborately detailed piece, i wanted it to be different to the other image i did for 'em. Was trying to play with the b+w balance to a more dramatic effect, hence the big blocky areas of both.

Hey Lubbert, thanks man!

Thats a grand big signature there ruining the whole thing. Change your name to a full stop and get back to me.

Great art.

Well, actually, i like to look at my art as a punctuation mark that follows my name. Nothing more.
